Area kindergarten teachers have said, "When we get the Little Blesings students, we know they are prepared for kindergarten." That preparation starts right from the Infant Room, and continues through a strong Preschool program, focusing on social skills, intellectual development, and physical development. Children acquire the skills they will need to be good learners in kindergarten: listening skills, patience, respect, independence, self-esteem, problem solving skills, and good nutrition.

The Preschool teachers completed the "Ladders To Literacy" course and Exeter Math Solutions’ course on "Math for Young Children." They also participated in collaborative sessions with S.A.U. 50 school teachers and administrators to develop curriculum for kindergarten readiness. Our preschool classroom, rich in math, science, literacy, cooking, computer, and large motor activities, provides a perfect environment where learning takes place through play.
